Ok, this is the second time I have written this post in the last 10 minutes because FireFox crashed! I’m using Firefox version 2, beta 1 as my main browser right now and while it sports great new features, it is definitely not 100% stable. I guess nothing is really 100% stable, including my current job! That’s right, my contract is over at the end of September this year. While I am very capable in this position (Windows desktop support and LAN admin), it just isn’t for me. The lack of any creativity in this job is really starting to drive me batty. My local network doesn’t suffer many problems - which is usually a LAN Admin’s dream but, boredom sets in fast and I can only redesign my inventory database so many times before I start feeling numb. We have no internet access (at least not easily) and so my only occasional connection to anything interesting is the corporate intranet. To sum up, I don’t like it. Time to move on.

You’ll get a new job in no time babe! The interactive companies are HOT right now and in desperate need of talent- which you have tons of!@

I added the jumpy bunny emoticon again - for Guin.

(but links in comments are screwy. I have to figure that out.)

I probably have a few scripts that you could run to make your life more interesting.

But I hear ya…hopefully you will find something new quickly.

It really wouldn’t be so bad if I could connect with the outside world during the non-busy times. But having only the internal network resources available gets really quite boring.

    Love your new layout Al.

    Something to say?
