My flight to Toronto was uneventful. The plane had very few passengers, and I had 3 seats to myself. This was a nice change from being stuck between a huge guy and a smelly guy. It could have been worse, some know-it-all told me that JetsGo throttles something on the plane down to conserve fuel and so the flights take 3 hours from Winnipeg to Toronto. An hour and 50 minutes after leaving Winnipeg, I landed in Toronto. Smooth sailing all the way. I was pleasantly surprised as my first trip with JetsGo had a 6 hour delay and this flight boarded early and left right on time, arriving 10 minutes before the specified time on the ticket. My family’s new house is huge, but I might still take a look around this week for apartments as the basement is totally unfinished and we would have to sleep within earshot of my brother’s alarm clock, which goes off faithfully everyday at 5:30am. Sorry, no pictures - I don’t have a camera anymore!

Also, I got smilies working after giving into Brad’s push for smilies.

EDIT: I almost forgot…the snow. It snowed big time down here last night and this morning. I drove my brother to work so I could take his car and I can’t believe how bad Toronto drivers are! They totally suck at driving on snow covered roads. While I didn’t see any accidents myself, I saw many potential ones and one guy in front of me passed a bus at fairly high speed and then signaled to turn into a driveway right after passing the bus. He met the friendly snowbank on the side of the driveway. (It was a big one…on some company’s parking lot.) Fortunately for me, my brother’s car has good directional snow tires on it and I drove at my normal pace. I am sure I was accelerating road rage this morning.

Testing smilies in comments…

I’m glad you got to Toronto safe & sound. Find us the awesomest place to live m’kay? I love the smilies!

You have a lot of blog posts since I last looked on the internet (Thursday). I will read through them all now.

All airlines adjust their speed/altitude/flight paths to conserve fuel, I don’t think that Jetsgo could do anything “more” than the others do.

The smilies are just ’y

Hehe, about the accelerating the road rage.

hang in there Allen! Do not let those townies get to you!

    We all miss you!
    LOL Carol xoxoxo
