    Windows Text Editors

    Need a decent Windows text editor that has limited prgramming functions? I was pulling my hair out trying to find a free program that could handle plain old ascii text and do find/replace. I found this page which has a whole bunch of links to text editors. The one that looks the most promising for my needs is called Crimson Editor and can be found here.

    We have TextPad at work…it’s pretty good, but it isn’t free.
